Going full circle ....cloaks

currently at my parents place waiting for Abbey. Have totally cleaned and scrubbed out the flat, thanks to Mum who helped clean everything including the walls. Am in the process of sewing for Abbey Festival in two days time.

to do list:
finish lining of "full circle" cloak and put together
make the cloak pretty
finish about 50 eyelets in back of dress
line Chris's Houpelande, sleaves and hem
pack
fix up other things
still manage to make 3 more bottles of mulled wine


Apart from that still need to clean up here.

how much work can moving actually be!!! I am so over moving and trying to jam an entire household of furniture and boxes into 1/3 of a garage.

not pretty.

well i had better go my brother wants his computer and i need to go and cut.

How many times can you say..."Only one or two more car loads left.."

This is my question for today.

the number of times over the past few days i have said "only one more car load left" would be huge... i am guessing that there is at least three in my lounge alone with all the silly little bits and pieces in there. I don't quite know how i am going to get everything all cleared out and cleaned by this afternoon. Something of a mystery i think.

well anyway the past few days:

Papa's 50th birthday:
went rather well dispite a few people being sick an unable to attend. The Hogwarts Castle Cake that mum made looked awsome!!

I eventually got to bed at nearly one (crashed on the lounge floor in front of the fireplace... toastie....)

When we got up the next morning we had to clear out everything going to Chris's parents place to be stored and eventually got it, and ourselves there. More yummy food, and yes another rather late night for this little pumpkin.

sunday night, back to the flat and more cleaning with (apparantly) only one or two more carcloads to do!!! after working all day yesterday and i shall be working all day today, that can not be correct. I shall be doing at least 3 today that i can see and probably a couple more. We are staying in the "upstairs balcony bedroom" otherwise known as the landing at the top of the stairs... but no matter... we can set up some blankets and hide away in the corner just like a friend of mine did once a week... was it Tuesday nights... i can't recall....

Well given then amount of work i have to do today (without Chris, because he has to take his car to the insurance people as some bastard person drove into his parked car and didn't leave the details..) i had probably better be getting back to shoving things in the car.

will post pictures of the insane mess we are in soon.

Europe here we come..

Those of you who know, know that i am very excited at the moment. AS WE ARE GOING TO EUROPE for a whole 6 months. It was a very rush decision made over dinner that well kind of grew on me very fast. When else in our near future are we going to get the opportunity to pack up stick and just move to another country. The point is we won't really ever have the time nor the money in the comming years for a holiday so the end result - Europe in exactly one month today!!!

scary though considering the amount of packing that i shall have to do. not to mention all the normal stuff involved with getting out of a house and job...
